CD and DVD Burning

CDBurnerXP

CDBurnerXP is in version 4.x of its life. It appears to be a fully functional CD/DVD burner. I am testing it for DVD video burning.

InfraRecorder

Although InfraRecorder is still in the beta stage, it is quite functional. I have experienced a few compatibility issues with some hardware and media. It does support the burning of video DVD's.

ImgBurn

This one is a little different than the others. ImgBurn is more for working with discs and disc images (ISO files). I mainly use it for going from disc to ISO and vice versa.
